Retail · Entering Spain
6,000+containers a year, shipped directly to Spain

Setting up a multinational’s logistics operation in Spain

01

Situation

A multinational retailer imported all its goods through France and then trucked them into Spain.

02

Intervention

We organised its logistics operation in Spain so it could import directly, without going through France.

03

Result

It built its own team in Spain and now imports more than 6,000 containers a year. We have been growing together for over 30 years.

FMCG · Customs
1 weekto release 10 containers held at port

Avoiding an order being sent back and port demurrage costs

01

Situation

A foreign company sold 10 containers of LED lighting to a major retail chain. The goods were stuck at the port of Barcelona: the buyer had purchased them delivered in Spain and would not take on the import.

02

Intervention

We arranged the registration of a Spanish tax ID (NIF) for the company, based outside the EU, so it could import in its own name.

03

Result

Within a week the containers left the port, with no return to origin and no thousands of euros in extra costs. The company went on to set up in Spain and, 15 years later, we are still its logistics partner.

Automotive · Sourcing in China
Directfrom the factory, under its own brand and with no middlemen

Outsourcing purchasing in China to launch an own brand

01

Situation

An importer and distributor of automotive components had spent years buying from a European supplier that sourced the goods in Asia. It decided to create its own brand and buy directly from factories.

02

Intervention

We contacted every supplier on its list, worked towards its target price and organised the meetings at the Shanghai automotive trade fair, accompanying the client so it could meet them all in the shortest possible time.

03

Result

With the selected suppliers, we handle daily order follow-up, packaging with its logo, samples and shipment at origin.

And also

Supplier verification in India

We checked that a supplier existed, how reliable it was and its export history before the client sent the payment. We also recommended manufacturers for the product.

Checks before the first payment

We visited the factory to verify that it was really the one selling the product and that it met expectations in quality and quantity.

Local sales in China for a luxury brand

A fashion brand wanted to sell in China part of what it manufactured there, without shipping it to Spain and back. We advised it on how to do so without a local company, operating from the Shanghai free trade zone.
